The meeting was called to order by President Greg Taylor at 4:03PM at the Cemetery office.  Also present were Trustees Lisa Hammond, Aileen Wokal and Lynda Edmonds.  Also in attendance were Manager James Brink, Office Coordinator Samantha Alcantar, community members Gabriel Fajardo and his grandmother, Virginia Garcia-Adams.

PUBLIC COMMENT –  Gabriel Fajardo expressed his concern with the Board providing written interment rights and presented the Board with a written statement on laws he had researched.  The Board will take this into consideration.

MANAGER’S REPORT – James reported the sprinkler filters were plugged and feels a filter at the pump at the reservoir would help.  There is a leak in the main line in Section E from the wall to the reservoior.

FINANCIAL REPORT – Received and moved by Aileen,, seconded by Lisa that it be filed.

MINUTES – The minutes of the May 18, 2026 meeting had been emailed and copies present at the meeting.  Aileen moved to accept, Lisa made the second and motion passed.

OLD BUSINESS

1.  Outbuildings – the bathroom repair is moving along and James now has an office with a water dispenser and time clock.
2. Possible cemetery expansion – the paperwork on the last addition (Section J) has been found and given to surveyor.
3. Lawn thatching – to be done in the fall
4. Fertilizing is presently being done
5. Water leaks are being worked o
6. Utility golf cart – Costs were discussed and Greg suggested a limit of $15,000 for 2 carts, one for the grounds and one for office use in showing customers sites. Lisa made the motion to allow Samantha to research this with a limit not exceeding $15,000 for 2 carts.  Aileen made the second and motion passed.
7. Reservoir fence – this will be done as soon as the leaks are fixed.

NEW BUSINESS – none

OTHER – none

EXECUTIVE SESSION – Joey has completed his probation period and is now covered under insurance.  Samantha will move to a full tie position and have the title of Office Manager.  Raises were discussed and Lynda announced her present 4 year term expires in January and after over 20 years she will be giving up her position on the board.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 until September 21, 202.
