The meeting was called to order at 9:05 AM by President Kate Gavlak.  Also present were Rita Rudkin, Lisa Hammond, Lani Farr and Lynda Edmonds.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss personnel.  On Friday there was an incident at the Cemetery and presently we only have our Manager.

There is a burial service tomorrow and help is needed.  Lynda reported she had contacted Logan Marlow who is wanting to rent the house with the conditions we had suggested at our previous meeting and asked him to come to our meeting at 9:30.  There was a discussion as to hiring him now as we need an employee.  Logan arrived, met the Board and all members asked him questions regarding employment and vision for the Cemetery among other things.  Logan said he was interested and this position should work with his present employment.  He was asked about when he would like to move in to the house and he would hope to by August 1st but will have to get back to us.  He left to go to the cemetery to help prepare for the burial and will start work today.

Rita will send Kay Wilson Bolton a thank you letter for all her help.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 10:15 to the regular monthly board meeting on July 20th at the Cemetery.
