  • Agnus Drive

Agnus was the wife of Edward Topping Ashby. He was one of the developers of the Ashby Park Tract developed in 1951 in Ventura CA, adjacent to the Ventura County Medical Center. The street Agnus Drive is named after her ( source, The streets of Ventura by David W. Hill ) She lived at the corner of Gale Way and Agnus when the house was built in 1952. Agnus had a business called Agnus Ashby Antiques. I believe she did not have any children. Pretty cool to have a street named after you though, now she will never be forgotten.
